Helping Others

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Today we celebration the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  It is the 25th anniversary of the first national celebration of his birthday in the USA.  Many celebrate with outreach, ceremonies, and remembrance dedications throughout the USA.  Taken from the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.:

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is ‘What are you doing for others?’”

Have you asked this specific question in the past?  Have you asked yourself what will I do in 2020 for the love of Christ and His kingdom? Today, determine what your answer is.  The Lord has been good to his Saints, and we should be compelled to honor Him by being obedient to His Word.

“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them”       ~ Hebrews 6:10 (NIV)

Commit to the Word of God to work in the fields, and love your fellow man.  The bottom line is to extend a helping hand instead of just claiming “what I cannot do” or “I do not know what to do.”  Do as your heart leads you to do, and do it honorably.  The year 2020 is your year to do better than you have in the past.  Seek a new method of thinking that includes listening to God’s request, and taming your flesh yield to the Word.

Stay Focused and Be Blessed!
